Did you know that there are various moves that you can do at home that will help how you feel and move almost immediately? We always stress the importance of mobility to help keep you moving and injury free. Here are some moves you can easily incorporate into a daily routine.

Did you know that-

Planking for a few minutes per day will help strengthen your core, arms, legs, glutes and will build abs and improve your mental focus.

Standing forward bend will stretch your hips, hamstrings and calves while strengthening your thighs and knees. It will also keep your spine flexible.

Performing a bridge regularly stretches the chest, neck, spine and hips. It will also strengthen the back, glutes and hamstrings. It will improve circulation of the blood and also help alleviate stress and mild depression.

Upward dog can stretch the wrist, arms and back. It will also open your chest, which will improve posture while freeing the lungs and opening the heart.

Cat- Cow will improve your posture and balance. It strengthens and stretches the spine and neck along with stretching the hips, abdomen and back. It will also help you increase coordination.

Butterfly stretch will help open your hips and thighs and improve your flexibility. This will loosen and lengthen the inner thigh muscles (adductors). These muscles play a big part in stability and balance.

Putting your legs up the wall for a few minutes every day is a powerful and restorative pose that helps with sending blood flow to your core. This will also help ease your stress, help you sleep and calm your nerves. It will help relieve swollen ankles, varicose veins headaches and improve digestion.

Did you know that daily stretching increases blood flow to the muscles. It will increase oxygen levels, improve flexibility and improve your range of motion. Most importantly it releases tension in both the body and the mind.

Start today. Preserve your youth.
