9 Thousand Step- Studies show that the average person only takes 5000- 7000 steps daily. Get outside, take a walk daily to get that number up to 9000- 10,000. Increase your activity and your health.

 

8 Hours of Sleep- Research states that 7-9 hours of sleep nightly is ideal. This allows our body to rebuild and recover from the stress we put it through during the day.

 

7 Glasses of Water- Our bodies are made up of 70% water so staying hydrated is important.

 

6 Minutes of Mediation- Meditation is a great way to start or even end your day. It allows you to clear your mind and helps combats stress and anxiety.

 

5 Servings of Fruits and Vegetables- We can all benefit from adding more fruits and vegetables to our diet. Veggies high in fiber are also great for your digestive health.

 

4 Stretching and Mental Breaks- A lot of people are stuck behind a desk or in a seated position for long amounts of time during the day. Taking several breaks to stretch and relax will help your posture and your mental well-being.

 

3 Health Meals and Snacks- Meal Prep will help increase your chances of eating healthy and sticking to it.

 

2 Hours No Phone- Blue light from our phones makes it harder to fall asleep at night and get restful sleep. Put the phone away prior to going to bed.

 

1 Session of Exercise- Hit the gym!  Lift weights, cardio etc. Do whatever form of exercise you enjoy.
